Speaker’s Corner!

We were very pleased to hear from five mem¬≠bers of our Eye of Tiger e‚ÄĎClub who are will¬≠ing to vol¬≠un¬≠teer their time to help guide our orga¬≠ni¬≠za¬≠tion. We wish each of them the best of luck in this unusu¬≠al elec¬≠tion year. Each can¬≠di¬≠date has more infor¬≠ma¬≠tion about them¬≠self on the Kiwa¬≠nis Inter¬≠na¬≠tion¬≠al Elec¬≠tion page and on his per¬≠son¬≠al Face¬≠book, social media or webpage.

Kiwa¬≠nis Inter¬≠na¬≠tion¬≠al Trustee Chuck Gugli¬≠uz¬≠za is run¬≠ning for Vice Pres¬≠i¬≠dent of Kiwa¬≠nis Inter¬≠na¬≠tion¬≠al. His desire to serve oth¬≠ers and help this orga¬≠ni¬≠za¬≠tion have dri¬≠ven him to seek this posi¬≠tion. Chuck and his wife Kiwan¬≠ian Emil¬≠ia are a ded¬≠i¬≠cat¬≠ed dynam¬≠ic duo of ser¬≠vice and phil¬≠an¬≠thropy to those in need.

Chuck helped open many new clubs in several North American districts over the past two years, along with 26 new clubs in Latin America and a new club in Puerto Rico as well. He has mentored and counseled new and existing members to strengthen our organization. His is passionate about growing Kiwanis.

Past International Trustee Bert West is seeking the office of Vice President as well. Bert is a third generation Kiwanian with more than 31 years of membership in our organization. He has spent his professional life in the roofing industry which has given him years of experience in managing others.

Bert hopes to promote growth at all levels of Kiwanis and maintain financial viability. He wants to work side-by-side with our members as we continue the legacy of service that has always been our foundation. He hopes to show Kiwanians worldwide that it is OK to have fun while serving the children of the world.

Dis¬≠tin¬≠guished Past Gov¬≠er¬≠nor of the Pacif¬≠ic North¬≠west Dis¬≠trict Roger Bell is run¬≠ning for the posi¬≠tion of Inter¬≠na¬≠tion¬≠al Trustee. Roger has ded¬≠i¬≠cat¬≠ed him¬≠self to forty years of serv¬≠ing with pas¬≠sion in Kiwa¬≠nis whether help¬≠ing to open 14 new clubs, being a club coach or mem¬≠ber¬≠ship chair.

His service extends to his community as well being a City Counsellor and Chamber Director. His years of senior management in the transportation business gives him a strong financial background to help guide Kiwanis. Roger wants to use his experience to help guide the future of Kiwanis.

Nathaniel Kyle is the Distinguished Past Governor of the West Virginia District running for a seat on the board as Trustee. He currently is the Circle K Administrator for his District and Membership Coordinator.

He decided to run for the Board to bring a younger perspective, to make our organization more inviting to younger members and to continue to make our organization inviting to all. He hopes to inspire younger members to join and create a bridge for KeyClub and Circle K to continue on with service to others.

Past New Jer¬≠sey Gov¬≠er¬≠nor Michael Mul¬≠haul is look¬≠ing to gain a seat on the Kiwa¬≠nis Inter¬≠na¬≠tion¬≠al Board as a Trustee as well. Michael has been a mem¬≠ber of the Greater Par¬≠sip¬≠pa¬≠ny Kiwa¬≠nis Club for 28 years and has ded¬≠i¬≠cat¬≠ed him¬≠self to serv¬≠ing as the dis¬≠trict coor¬≠di¬≠na¬≠tor for The Elim¬≠i¬≠nate Project since 2012.
His hope is to make clear and mea¬≠sur¬≠able progress in grow¬≠ing mem¬≠ber¬≠ship and enhanc¬≠ing the Kiwa¬≠nis expe¬≠ri¬≠ence; to help pro¬≠vide a finan¬≠cial¬≠ly sound orga¬≠ni¬≠za¬≠tion for future growth and encour¬≠ag¬≠ing mem¬≠bers to take an inter¬≠est in each other.
